El Chorro is a village in the municipality of Alora, near Antequera, located next to a dam on the river Guadalhorce near Ardales in the province of Málaga, Spain. It is one of the main centers of rock climbing in Europe due to be located next to the Los Gaitanes. At the edge of this gorge is the Caminito del Rey, notoriously dangerous and was closed in 2000 due to the multitude of accidents with walkers. There is a train station in the village that connects Malaga and Sevilla. It has been recently re-opened and it has become one of the most visited natural surroundings all over Spain.
