Ronda is situated in a natural setting of great beauty. Flanked by three bridges, Roman, Arabic and called Puente Nuevo (1000 m), has been home to countless romantic and artists community (O. Welles, R.M. Rilke, P. Merimee, E. Hemingway, T. Gautier). The city is dotted with manor houses, palaces, churches, convents and plazas that seduce the traveler. Equally remarkable its bullring, built in stone in the late fifteenth century, and in which the foundations of bullfighting on foot were created by Pedro Romero. Food is one of its pillars, with many taverns, restaurants and tapas bars.
